JessLehry Designs mentioned on Style Me Pretty!

December 8, 2009

I can’t believe I didn’t post this sooner- I am so flippin’ excited to share this news- however small- but my design company, JessLehry Designs and this little blog BSB were mentioned on the uber fab and famous wedding blog Style Me Pretty! :) JLD is credited with designing the programs for the fab wedding of Tosha and Will, which I’m hoping to feature here as a BS-WOW sometime very soon. :)

Check it out: the mention:

The programs weren’t pictured, but here’s a pic I snapped before I delivered them to the lovely bride:

It’s the little things that make my day. :) Too cool!

Faith, Hope & Cancer- Book and Audiobook Covers

August 19, 2009

I designed the book cover for Faith, Hope & Cancer by Carol Westfahl back in 2005 when I was just a student in graphic design. Recently Carol asked to do a corresponding cover for the audio book, so I thought I’d share that with you here, now that I’ve gotten a copy! :)

Carol is my grandma so this was a really special project to me. I was so proud to do a book cover for an actual book that has been published and is sold in bookstores! And even more proud to help out my grandmother at the same time! The book is about dealing with cancer whether you’re a sufferer, survivor, or a friend or family member of someone who is. It’s her personal journey through diagnosis and remission- twice!- and the power that God had in healing her and bringing her peace during that difficult time. She’s a strong woman and I am so proud of her. :)

You can buy the book on the website for Faith, Hope & Cancer and they will be adding the audiobook for ordering as well sometime in the future.

My biz name and a few images from my wedding were published in the most recent issue of Enchanted Brides- Middle Tennessee! Neato! You can click the image above to see it bigger. :) Below is a low quality shot (from my iphone) of an article my DOC wrote about candy bars… using photos from my wedding to illustrate the article. Check out my monogram and my candy signs I designed! Too cool. :)
